Bastiaan Woudt | Personal Profiling

Bastiaan Woudt is a world renowned art photographer, who’s known for his powerful black and white contrasts and velvety textures. Woudt was nominated for the 2014 SO Awards was named New Dutch Photography Talent in 2015. In 2016, the British Journal of Photography included him in their ‘Ones to Watch’ issue, and he received the Van Vlissingen Art Foundation Prize. His work is represented internationally by Bildhalle Amsterdam, Bildhalle Zurich, Atlas Gallery, London, and Jackson Fine Art, Atlanta. Alongside his own work, Woudt makes commissioned photography for magazines such as British Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, New York Magazine, Volkskrant Magazine, Numéro Paris and l’Officiel. Woudt’s photography has been exhibited at leading photography fairs such as Paris Photo, Photo London, Art Miami, Photo Shanghai, APAID New York and PAN Amsterdam and successfully auctioned at Christie’s, Sotheby’s and Phillips, among others.
